Holy Water - Old Skool Non-IR dispenser - Props to CelesteH's photostream
When I think of things that I KNOW God loves, I am left with two stellar answers.
The first thing is Water. A quick search on Gospelcom’s Bible gateway turns out 620 results. Obviously – we’re made up of like 80% water, right? Rich with meaning, water is used throughout the Bible with stand out value and weighty metaphoric undercurrents (puncount +1, thanks).
The second thing I know he loves is Ifra-Red heat sensors. I know this because Catholic churches in Milan and basically all of Italy are installing IR monitored Holy Water Founts. Named the “Acquasentiera Electronica”, it was the rescue needed by churches to assuage H1N1 fears. From the BBC – Inventor of the IR Fount Luciano Marabese:
“Some people had stopped dipping their hand into the holy water font as they were afraid of infections,” he told Reuters. … “After the news that some churches – like Milan’s cathedral – are suspending the use of holy water fonts… demands for my invention rose to the stars,” added Mr Marabese.
Next step – Install soap dispensers and they’ll be good to go. Go here to look at the video – it’s quite hilarious.
