    I’m on vacation.

So, I am on vacation this week. I promised someone from Small Group pictures on the blog, but they might not get updated. Not because of a lack of broadband (it’s surprisingly fast here in Keystone, CO). But because, you know, I’m on vacation.

However, I do have a few observations from this week. #1 – I really like to mess around with the Xbox 360. My boss sold me his, and it’s stellar. I’ve almost never wanted to blog about something which I would typically label as “frivolous”. I would say that the 360 is a decent media monster. We’re using it to play DVD’s (and games also). The interface with using the controller on screen is great. Dare I say EASIER than mashing the buttons on a remote on a standard DVD. I still haven’t mastered linking up the computer at home and the 360 using TVERSITY. Once I do I’m golden. Our cupboard of DVD’s will be antiquated…

The other little thing that I totally miss is our DVR. GOOD LORD, commercials are ANNOYING! We watched scrubs yesterday, and I wanted to rip my hair out. Also, the incredibly family un-friendly “the uninvited” (or something stupid like that – it’s a horror movie) commercials. Complete with someone dying, black good slipping through a keyhole and about 6 scary sounding screams (that made Little-M jump).

    • ANyone who reads these comments might be interested to know that I believe Preston wrote this before we had the results from our amnio. She does definitely have T18 – no chance of not. I am so sorry honey – I love you. We will hopefully survive for each other’s sake and our living children’s.

    • The xbox 360 is really something else the amount of things you can do on that machine. Have you tried to upload music on the harddrive and listen to music while playing a video game.
