Today is the Nines (9/9/9) and as such, there is a webcast for 9 hours, with bloggers and authors presenting 9 minute segments of life in general in the world and church. [...] EK and I love to play boardgames with friends. There are just a lot of timeless memories to be created playing them. We have quite a few quotes from over boardgames such as: While playing taboo: “Vampires! Vampires! Jesus!” (the word was immortal, btw) There are a few toys that I have found that are specifically and perfectly age appropriate and well adept to the psyche of the child playing with them. The I-Fell-Tower is one of them. This was recently a present from my mom to my 3 year old son. Let’s go over the stuff [...] I am sure that there could possibly be “technically” superior hosters than Dreamhos. But I haven’t found many companies (at least hosting wise) that made me go “Oh yeah, I want to give these people my money”. Perhaps it’s because I’m sarcastically witty by nature, but I was drawn to them for a couple [...] I am desperately looking for the weather forecast I just saw from Fox 31 here in Denver. The forecaster dude’s name was Chris Dunn. It was SO hilarious. The guy who gave the weather just referred to a storm due to arrive here in Denver as “A big juicy storm”. Which made [...] OK so I appologize that this is so jokin’ late. Life is nuts around here… Ignore the last week and yesterday! So, everyone was all twitterpated last week about getting their hands on the new Fray album. But, I said “Eh, No.”. Partially because I’m being cheap these days (what recession???) and also because [...] Today I got a new chair at work. It is bold red and charcoal. Esthetically speaking, it is the bully that beat the crap out of my old “teal-holy-crap-is-that-a-coffee-stain-or-something-else” chair. It is ergonomic, which is awesome, because my previous chair was a step above cinderblocks and a tarp. That’s about it. Oh yeah – on deck is [...] So, somehow in the land of blogtasticness I stumbled across a blog called “Worshipcity” written by a dude named Connor who is a Youth Director / Worship Leader. His writing is thought provoking and usually pretty funny. As a bonus he almost always blogs a recap of “The Office” which truly endeared his blog to [...] I LOVE my mojopac. I tell everyone about it, and I feel guilty that I haven’t upgraded to the non-free version. Even though I know it’s made for marketing purposes (the mojopac freedom version) to boost their corporate sales. Recently, my freedom got hosed up for some reason (it thought that I had reactivated it [...] Have you ever re-discovered something and been amazed with it’s coolness and all the while mad at yourself for not checking it out more? Nugget number one: Relient K’s Apathetic EP, which includes the song “Apathetic way to be”. This is truly an authentic way that I generally feel towards a great deal of Christianity. [...] |
